Multinational Specialist – Insurance Underwriting

About the role

This position provides service and underwriting guidance for large and complex local policy requests, issuing policies and invoices to local brokers and customers on behalf of Zurich Producing Offices. The specialist acts as a subject‑matter expert in their lines of business, processes and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Foster relationships with local brokers and large customers, ensuring high‑standard local service.
• Coordinate with local Underwriter, Legal and Claims, and communicate with Producing Offices on complex policies, implementing manuscript wording or endorsements as required.
• Independently issue local policies within agreed KPIs, adhering to local guidelines and legislation.
• Work with brokers and customers to secure payment of outstanding invoices and highlight non‑payment cases to producing offices.
• Explain changes in local guidelines or legislation to Producing Offices and articulate process impacts.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant insurance experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Fluent English (both verbal and written); additional language skills are a plus.
• Solution‑oriented, customer focused, able to work independently with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a positive, team‑spirit attitude.
