Material Planning Lead / Assistant Lead – Metal Stamping

About the role

We are seeking a Material Planning Lead or Assistant Lead to oversee material planning for our metal stamping operations. The successful candidate will drive inventory excellence and ensure seamless material flow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute material planning strategies to meet production schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and manage safety stock.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics to secure timely material availability.
• Analyze inventory performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead or support a small planning team, providing guidance and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material planning or inventory management within a manufacturing setting, preferably metal stamping.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Leadership potential for managing a planning team.
