Logistics Coordinator – Import, Export & Freight Operations

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage end‑to‑end import and export logistics, ensuring efficient shipment execution, accurate freight cost verification, and compliance with customs and trade regulations. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams, logistics service providers, customs brokers, and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments, documentation, customs clearance and delivery execution.
• Verify freight invoices, monitor logistics costs and ensure compliance with tariffs and contracts.
• Oversee warehouse inbound activities, resolve shipment discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor forwarder and customs broker performance against KPIs and service standards.
• Manage logistics‑related insurance claims from documentation to closure.
• Support logistics reporting, cost monitoring and budget tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in freight forwarding, import/export operations or logistics coordination.
• Understanding of import/export processes, freight management and customs clearance requirements.
• Familiarity with ASEAN trade regulations, Incoterms and Malaysian customs requirements (preferred).

Required skills

• Knowledge of freight documentation: Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or logistics ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to interpret logistics costs, KPIs and operational data.
