Logistics Coordinator for Industrial Projects

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage owner‑furnished equipment and support industrial construction projects such as semiconductor plants, cleanrooms, data centres and pharmaceutical facilities. The role is based in Selangor and involves on‑site coordination and travel as required.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse conversions, brownfield developments, fit‑out works and commissioning activities.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian construction practices, statutory requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee project lifecycle stages from design development through procurement, construction, testing, handover and close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Architecture, Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in owner‑furnished equipment management within highly regulated industrial projects.
• Strong command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willingness to be based on‑site in Selangor and travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with project management and engineering software.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract principles and international engineering standards.
• Understanding of Malaysian building regulations, authority approval processes and industry standards.
