Concurrent Planner (Supply Chain)

About the role

The Concurrent Planner will generate net requirements for plants and vendors, prepare weekly and monthly supply plans, and manage the replenishment of R&P materials to meet customer demand. This role balances network complexity, inventory targets, and supply constraints while evaluating supply scenarios for feasibility, risk, and opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Generate production requirements from the signed‑off demand plan, respecting inventory targets and supply constraints.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and other stakeholders to ensure product availability and avoid out‑of‑stock situations over an 18‑month horizon.
• Maintain up‑to‑date master data and align systems with realistic production processes.
• Run what‑if scenarios to resolve supply/demand gaps and assess feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Identify potential supply issues early, provide impact analysis, and recommend realistic, achievable actions.
• Review inventory targets with the Inventory Analyst and work to reduce them without jeopardising product availability.
• Lead weekly and monthly production review meetings and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Economics; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, distribution planning or logistics.
• 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably OMP.
• 2+ years of experience in a multinational environment, demonstrating cultural adaptability and cross‑border collaboration.
