IT Project Manager

About the role

An experienced Project Manager is sought to lead and deliver internal IT projects across the organization. The role works closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple internal IT projects and workstreams concurrently
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver milestones on time and within budget
• Own project planning, scheduling and progress tracking
• Monitor resource capacity and utilization
• Engage stakeholders to define scope, success criteria and expectations
• Ensure governance follows the AirAsia Project Management framework, covering scope and change management, risk and issue management, and project documentation and reporting
• Run regular project meetings, including steering committee updates, and give status reports to senior management
• Support and guide junior project managers (if assigned) and drive change management and user adoption

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management
• Proven experience managing medium to large IT-related projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including with senior leadership
• Ability to handle changing priorities, scope adjustments and project resets
• Strong problem-solving, planning and execution skills
• Self-driven, organized, able to work independently and confident in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project
