Field Service Engineer - Software

About the role

Siemens Healthineers is hiring a Field Service Engineer - Software to provide remote and on-site technical support for Varian Oncology Information Systems (OIS), Treatment Planning Systems (TPS) and ETHOS Appliance Servers supporting adaptive radiotherapy. The role covers installation, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, preventive service, infrastructure support and system integration, ensuring reliable system performance and continuity of clinical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site support, maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, upgrades and system health checks for ARIA OIS, Eclipse TPS and ETHOS Appliance Servers
• Diagnose and resolve issues in application software, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, virtualization, Active Directory, storage, backup, security controls and TCP/IP networking
• Perform patching, software updates, upgrades and corrective actions
• Install, configure and implement ARIA OIS, Eclipse TPS and ETHOS servers according to company standards and customer environments
• Verify connectivity and data exchange between ARIA OIS, Eclipse TPS, ETHOS, imaging modalities, PACS/RIS and other hospital information systems
• Investigate, document and resolve service incidents within agreed service levels, escalating complex issues with technical evidence
• Train customers on basic system operation and maintenance
• Comply with Varian and Siemens Healthineers quality, information security, data privacy, safety and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with regional and global support teams and travel throughout Southeast Asia (ASEAN) as required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Informatics or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered
• At least 3 years of experience in field service, software support, systems engineering or a related technical role; healthcare or medical technology experience preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout ASEAN and provide remote and on-site support
