About the role
Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Electrical Surveyor to join its team on the East Coast of Malaysia, supporting independent third‑party rig inspections for the oil and gas sector.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of oil and gas industry experience within the last 15 years.
- At least 5 years of experience in independent third‑party rig inspections, specifically on Jack‑up and Tender Assisted rigs.
- Proven senior‑level offshore electrical experience (Senior/Chief/Rig Electrician).
- Possession of a valid CompEx (Ex01‑Ex04) certification or equivalent hazardous area inspection certification.
- Must be Malaysian and willing to be based on the East Coast of Malaysia.
