Credit Risk Management Internship – Mandarin Speaker

About the role

Join BASF’s Customer Credit Risk Management team in Malaysia as a Credit Risk Management Intern. This six‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in order management, financial analysis and digital credit solutions while working in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support order management for pre‑payment customers, ensuring accurate processing.
• Prepare and monitor reporting on CCRM key performance indicators.
• Enter customer data, including financial statements, into BASF systems and conduct basic financial analysis.
• Assist with ongoing projects such as the smart credit optimizer and other process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and English.
• Strong analytical mindset with a high level of maturity and independence.
• Team‑player attitude willing to collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
