Content Analyst (Mandarin)

About the role

LSEG is hiring a Content Analyst (Mandarin) in Kuala Lumpur. Content Analysts ensure the consistency, quality and timely delivery of data that powers the company's products, working in a multi-national team with colleagues across several locations. The role focuses on handling the Officers & Directors (O&D) process, collecting and maintaining information on C-level executives and board members with a focus on the China and Taiwan markets.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and maintain information on C-level executives and board members, focusing on the China and Taiwan markets
• Process data accurately into the database using technical and financial knowledge
• Own data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness, and resolve client queries promptly
• Create and maintain content for new projects and liaise with Data Operations, customers and third-party suppliers
• Research and review sources to ensure quality, timeliness and automation, and share feedback to improve the process
• Use language skills to source financial information and build relationships with overseas contacts
• Follow policies, procedures and data management requirements, and backup other analysts when they are absent

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Professional working level of Mandarin, as data collection is done daily in this language
• Understanding of financial markets and statements is desirable
• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
