Claims Examiner – Third-Party Bodily Injury

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Claims Examiner to manage third‑party bodily injury claims for Zurich in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on investigating, evaluating and settling claims while delivering high‑quality service and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and settle third‑party bodily injury claims, gathering relevant information and analysing medical reports.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, legal representatives and other stakeholders, ensuring offers are fair and within company guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards and legal regulations, staying updated on changes affecting bodily injury claims.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to best‑practice development in claims management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Insurance or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling third‑party bodily injury claims, preferably in an insurance or legal environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with claims management software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
