Civil/Structural Engineer – Pahang/Johor Projects

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to support large‑scale power generation, renewable energy and infrastructure projects based in Pahang or Johor. The role involves overseeing engineering design, construction, commissioning and site operations while ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and construction activities for CCGT, thermal and renewable energy plants.
• Coordinate EPC contracts, owner’s engineer duties, and interface with contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and hand‑over processes.
• Monitor progress, quality control, HSE compliance and prepare technical and progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power generation, transmission, utility or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Proven experience in EPC, owner’s engineer, construction management and stakeholder coordination.
• Willingness to be based on project sites in Pahang or Johor and travel as required.
