HSE Inspector (Pahang Based)

About the role

The HSE Inspector will implement and monitor the Project Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Plan for a site in Pahang, ensuring compliance with regulations, client requirements and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project HSE Plan across all site activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
• Perform risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and toolbox briefings to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, preparing detailed reports with preventive recommendations.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements and safe work practices.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, permits and project safety documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in power plants, solar, renewable energy, utility, EPC, construction or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations, industry best practices and international safety standards.
• Strong inspection, reporting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a site‑based environment and willingness to be based in Pahang.
