About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to oversee industrial construction projects in Malaysia. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with clients and authorities, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
10+ years of experience in industrial structures, piling, and regulated facilities such as semiconductor plants, cleanrooms, or data centres.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction practices, statutory requirements, and authority approval processes.
Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with international engineering and project management standards, including FIDIC contract principles.
Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
