Associate Principal 1, RWE/HEOR Consulting

About the role

IQVIA is hiring an Associate Principal 1 for its RWE/HEOR consulting practice in Kuala Lumpur. The role manages several consulting projects of varying complexity and ensures on-time, on-budget delivery for life sciences clients, while contributing to new business development and strengthening the client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project teams, including internal and external resources, in designing, developing and delivering client solutions.
• Lead teams in reviewing client requirements and challenges, and develop and cost proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction with little senior management input.
• Manage proposal preparation and modifications, including bid integrity.
• Develop project plans with timelines and deliverables and lead projects to completion on time and on budget.
• Serve as key point of contact with the client and provide high-level input to client reports and presentations.
• Elevate new business by identifying follow-on work and new leads, and follow up with clients after delivery.
• Strengthen subject matter expertise through conferences and symposia, and mentor and coach colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 8-12 years of related experience, including consulting and life sciences industry experience.
• Experience building consultative relationships with senior managers and executives in the life sciences industry.
• Established network and referral contacts.

Required skills

• In-depth understanding of IQVIA data assets and core offerings.
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills.
