Application Engineer

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical support for customers in Southeast Asia. The role involves delivering application assistance, training, and collaborating with internal teams to drive product success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support and technical training for customers, field application engineers, and sales engineers.
• Visit customers to promote new products, gather feedback, and understand requirements.
• Develop reference circuits based on customer specifications.
• Collaborate with design engineers, field applications, and marketing on IC debugging.
• Assist technical marketing engineers with product definition.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• MSEE or equivalent degree; experience with power management ICs is a plus.
• Fluent communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Strong initiative, responsibility, self‑motivation, and teamwork.

Required skills

• Familiarity with buck, boost, and buck‑boost topologies.
• Hardware implementation capabilities.
• Ability to analyze complex analog and power‑electronic circuits.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation abilities.
