Senior Application Engineer

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to provide technical support for customers in Southeast Asia. You will work closely with field application engineers, sales teams, and design engineers to deliver innovative power management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support and technical training for customers and field engineers.
• Visit customers to promote new products, gather feedback, and define requirements.
• Develop reference circuits based on customer specifications.
• Collaborate with design, field application, and marketing teams on IC debugging and product definition.
• Guide junior application engineers and perform other tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• MSEE or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in power‑management ICs.
• Experience in application engineering, field application engineering, or automotive electronics is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Self‑motivated, responsible, and able to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with buck, boost, and buck‑boost topologies.
• Hardware implementation and circuit design skills.
• Ability to analyze complex analog and power‑electronic circuits.
