Analyst - Associate Consultant, Health Economic Modelling

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Analyst / Associate Consultant to build and run health economic models for real-world solutions. The role covers model development, scenario analysis, literature review and stakeholder engagement, and is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Build and adapt health economic models, including drafting modelling plans, creating complex models, sourcing local data and preparing reports and training materials.
• Develop and execute health economic models and scenario analyses, from conceptualisation to technical reports and slide decks.
• Develop expertise across several therapeutic areas.
• Conduct literature reviews, including abstract screening, paper selection and data extraction.
• Plan and run interviews with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders.
• Draft, revise and submit abstracts, posters and manuscripts for conferences and publications.
• Work within project teams, independently and with supervision.

Required profile

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Health Economics, Health Policy, Pharmacy, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on health economic modelling experience, including CBA, CEA, CMA, BIM, CCA and BIAS.
• Proven track record delivering models supporting reimbursement and market access in Europe, the US and Asia.
• Strong communication skills, adaptable, quick learner, willing to travel.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Excel VBA is essential.
• Knowledge of R or R-Shiny is a plus.
