Senior / Clinical Research Associate

About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, is looking for a Senior / Clinical Research Associate based in Kuala Lumpur. The role suits people developing their career as a Senior CRA or CRA, with mentoring, structured quarterly reviews and exposure to wider opportunities such as operations management, customer solutions and project management. The position is listed as hybrid (#LI-Hybrid).

Key responsibilities

• Perform site selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits, and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Support the development of a subject recruitment plan.
• Establish regular lines of communication with sites and administer protocol and related study training to assigned sites.
• Evaluate the quality and integrity of site practices and escalate quality issues as appropriate.
• Manage progress by tracking regulatory submissions, recruitment, case report form (CRF) completion and data query resolution.

Required profile

• University degree in a scientific discipline or healthcare.
• At least 1 year of on-site monitoring experience.
• Good knowledge of GCP and clinical research regulatory requirements.
• Comfortable collaborating and communicating with colleagues and customers.
• Flexibility to travel.

Required skills

• Good computer skills including MS Office.
• Excellent command of English.
• Organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and customers.
