Senior Consultant, Health Economic Modelling

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Senior Consultant for Health Economic Modelling in Kuala Lumpur. The role leads end-to-end development of health economic models, manages client relationships and projects, guides the team, and supports real-world evidence initiatives and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end health economic model development, including model plans, complex model creation and adaptation, local data sourcing, and reports and training materials
• Oversee client relationships and project management, attend external client meetings and present research findings
• Guide the team in modelling and run scenario analyses, including model conceptualization, platform-specific execution and technical reports
• Expand expertise across therapeutic areas
• Conduct literature reviews, including abstract screening, article selection and data extraction
• Plan and run interviews with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders
• Prepare and submit conference abstracts, posters and manuscripts
• Contribute to real-world evidence initiatives with the regional RWE team
• Support business development through proposal drafts from client RFPs
• Work independently or in teams to deliver project milestones

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Health Economics, Health Policy, Pharmacy, Statistics, Engineering or a related field preferred
• Over 4 years of practical experience in health economic modelling, including CBA, CEA, CMA, CCA and BIA
• Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences
• Project management experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines

Required skills

• Demonstrated success building and delivering health economic models for reimbursement and market access in Europe, the US and Asia
• Proficiency in Excel VBA is required
• Familiarity with R or R-Shiny is advantageous
