Agency Development Head – Johor Bahru

About the role

The Agency Development Head will lead the sales and distribution of Zurich Insurance's Strategic Business Unit products in Johor Bahru. The role focuses on driving profitable growth through new business acquisition, client retention, and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Select, train, develop and coach team members, manage performance, and advise on promotions, transfers, salary administration and terminations.
• Oversee sales and service activities to increase new business and retention across all product lines.
• Manage operational costs, evaluate cost‑reduction opportunities and keep expenses within the approved budget.
• Lead the Customer Service Index program and report results to senior management.
• Develop and expand business opportunities, monitor market trends, and design process improvements.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget, set operational objectives and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales experience, or High School Diploma with 7 years of sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience and a licence to sell insurance products.
• Experience analysing financial statements and reports.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
