About the role
The Regional Chief will lead Zurich’s insurance business across the Northern Region of Malaysia, driving growth and market share. This senior position reports to a home‑office executive and oversees multiple local areas.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and visit agents, brokers and customers to promote and sell Zurich’s products and services.
- Collaborate with agents and brokers to gather underwriting information and deliver targeted insurance solutions.
Required profile
- 10–15+ years of experience in insurance sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead large agency, bancassurance or direct sales teams and drive revenue growth.
- Deep market expertise in Malaysian insurance products and channels.
- Familiarity with BNM, LIAM/PIAM/MTA regulatory guidelines.
- Strategic execution skills to plan and deliver sales campaigns and growth initiatives.
