Production Shift Leader – Final Test

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Production Shift Leader for its new final‑testing semiconductor plant in Penang. You will lead a team of operators and technicians to meet production targets while ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of operators and technicians on the production line.
• Conduct Daily Leadership Routine (DLR) meetings and first‑shift eLPC sessions.
• Facilitate daily handshake meetings with other shifts.
• Ensure all team members are trained according to work instructions.
• Monitor production flow to maintain efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Equipment Engineers, Product Engineers and other departments.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity.
• Trigger technicians/engineers when non‑conformities are detected.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Diploma, preferably in Electrical & Electronics or Semiconductor Production.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and foster a positive work environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
