Manager, Specialist Sales, Small and Medium Enterprises

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Specialist Sales for Small and Medium Enterprises to lead growth initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, based in Kuala Lumpur. You will work within the Commercial and New Payments Flow team, reporting to the Vice President, Commercialisation, SME.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth of the Small Business portfolio by achieving targets for new wins, spend volumes, revenue and market share.
• Develop and execute strategies for differentiated product features and benefits for bank, fintech and startup partners.
• Collaborate with account teams, marketing, finance, pricing, legal and external partners to launch new initiatives.
• Provide consultative sales enablement during complex, cross‑departmental discussions.
• Own end‑to‑end pipeline reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the region.
• Create and maintain dashboards that visualise pipeline health, coverage velocity and forecast risk.
• Partner with sales leaders to identify gaps, trends and opportunities, and improve sales processes and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of payment market products and programs from issuer, acquirer and end‑user perspectives.
• Proven experience in strategy development, business development, analytics and reporting within the payments or financial services sector.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple functions and external partners.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive execution.
