Managing Consultant, Services Business Development (Innovation)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Managing Consultant to drive the commercialisation of innovation‑led and technology implementation solutions within its Services Business Development unit. The role sits at the intersection of innovation, technology and commercial execution, working closely with account, delivery and product teams to shape and sell complex engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end sales and revenue for the services stream, including pipeline generation, opportunity shaping and revenue targets.
• Identify services opportunities arising from client delivery needs, implementation challenges and innovative payment initiatives.
• Partner with Account Managers, Technical Account Managers and Delivery teams to convert implementation pain points into commercial opportunities.
• Lead client discussions, pitches and proposals, articulating solution implementation without owning execution.
• Support commercialisation of new payment technologies, digital platforms and ecosystem integrations, bridging product concepts with real‑world implementation considerations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• 8‑10 years of experience in the payments industry, financial institutions or consulting.
• Exposure to delivery, implementation, consulting or technology programmes.
• Proven experience in business development, commercial or client‑facing roles.
