Senior Module Engineer – Assembly Process Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Module Engineer to lead the planning and optimisation of assembly processes for our manufacturing lines. You will work closely with project teams to reduce product cost, ensure efficient line set‑up and drive continuous improvement in production performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan assembly process flows with a focus on manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with project teams to minimise product cost through design and process optimisation.
• Support RFQ calculations and provide investment estimates for standard assembly modules.
• Define equipment specifications, supervise purchase, set‑up and release of manufacturing cells on schedule and budget.
• Participate in all project stages to evaluate equipment and process performance and produce technical reports.
• Create and maintain process specifications, maintenance strategies and other documentation required for line release.
• Apply problem‑solving methodologies to assembly processes and equipment, develop troubleshooting guides and train technicians.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programmes (Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery).
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for technical flaws.
• Analyse and improve technical capacity to meet customer demand, targeting higher OEE, FPY, MTTR and MTBF.
• Promote teamwork within the Value Stream Organisation to achieve operational excellence.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in assembly line set‑up, process planning, PFMEA and Control Plan creation.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, production systems and box‑build assembly processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Proven decision‑making, problem‑solving and result‑oriented mindset.
