Planner – Production and Material Planning

About the role

Join Bosch's manufacturing operations in Malaysia as a Planner responsible for both material and production planning. You will ensure raw material availability, manage supplier performance, and support the execution of production schedules to meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Replenish raw materials and maintain a minimum three‑month supply visibility.
• Secure delivery confirmations, expedite shipments, and manage bottlenecks for critical shortages.
• Maintain master data integrity in SAP and add*ONE to enable automatic MRP runs.
• Track supplier delivery performance (SSL3) and implement improvement measures.
• Handle material phase‑in/out due to engineering changes, EOL, and product life‑cycle adjustments.
• Manage special procurement activities such as Last Time Buy, purchases below MOQ, and risk purchases.
• Monitor safety stock, excess & obsolete inventory, and coordinate RTV processes for logistics quality issues.
• Develop rough production plans (RPP) up to 24 months, level production loading, and release production orders.
• Align production capacity with manufacturing teams and drive output to meet SKU mix and backlog reduction targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material and production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of supplier management, inventory control, and MRP processes.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams to resolve capacity constraints and ensure timely deliveries.
