Logistics IT Intern – Warehouse Systems

About the role

Join Bosch Group’s high‑tech engineering hub in Penang as a Logistics IT Intern, supporting warehouse systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives for warehouse systems to boost efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
• Support system‑related improvement projects, including process optimisation and automation.
• Provide hardware support for warehouse operations, troubleshooting scanners, printers and related devices.
• Monitor daily warehouse system performance, resolve issues promptly and ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with IT and operations teams to support system enhancements and issue resolution.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for system or process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support SAP/warehouse system transactions, maintain data accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Maintain documentation for system processes, changes and improvements.
• Train and guide users on system usage and best practices when required.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations or supply‑chain concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems such as SAP and Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, simple analysis).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, detail‑oriented and proactive attitude.
• Ability to provide a Letter of Recommendation from your university.
