Channel Sales Representative – Safety & Industrial Business

About the role

3M is seeking a passionate Channel Sales Representative to join its Safety & Industrial Business Group in Malaysia. You will develop and expand our channel partner network, driving growth and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute channel sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Identify, recruit and develop new distributors, resellers and strategic partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners and grow their accounts.
• Drive sales growth and increase market coverage within the assigned territory.
• Support partners with product knowledge, sales activities and business development initiatives.
• Resolve partner‑related issues and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines and service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, channel management or business development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and presentation capabilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.
