Web Senior Developer, APAC

About the role

Join the Zurich Edge team as a Web Senior Developer to build web applications for customers across the Asia Pacific region. You will help create a digital‑native insurance platform that enables high automation and straight‑through processing.

Key responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and design web applications accordingly.
• Develop using HTML5, CSS3, vanilla JavaScript and frameworks such as Next.js or ReactJS.
• Implement REST/JSON integration, state management, and reusable UI components.
• Write unit tests with Jest, perform integration testing, and support deployment across environments.
• Document code and collaborate with back‑end teams for service integration.
• Participate in CI/CD processes on AWS, including automated builds and testing.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Next.js or ReactJS, state management and REST/JSON.
• Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Background in application security, financial services or insurance is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jest, Jira, GitHub and SonarQube.
