Transport Management Executive – Kuala Lumpur

About the role

The Transport Management Executive will oversee inbound and outbound sea‑freight operations for packaged deliveries, ensuring compliance with customer deadlines, cost‑optimal conditions and all relevant regulations. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role supports process improvement, knowledge sharing and risk management across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute outbound sea‑freight shipments, managing loading, consolidation and de‑consolidation at internal and external sites.
• Coordinate inbound sea‑freight deliveries to EMEA sites, applying site‑specific service levels and safety standards.
• Monitor shipment milestones, provide timely updates to stakeholders and resolve any issues that arise.
• Assess and report on transport service provider performance, reliability and feedback.
• Prepare, file and verify all transport documentation, including freight accounting records and cost analyses.
• Ensure adherence to legal, internal, safety and packaging regulations throughout the transport process.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (or up to 2 years experience) in Transport Management, IT, Business Studies or related fields.
• 1–2 years of logistics experience, preferably in transport management or supply‑chain operations.
• Understanding of distribution, warehousing and unit‑filling processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP R/3 (quality management and transport modules) is preferred.
