Technician II – Molding Production

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician II to support its molding production line in Johor, Malaysia. The role involves operating and maintaining molding tools and equipment, performing quality inspections, and ensuring smooth production of medical‑device lenses.

Key responsibilities

• Perform optical tool inspection, assembly, PON set‑up, targeting, line clearance, mechanical and negative checks, UV readings and PON changeover.
• Operate molding automation equipment, troubleshoot faults and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct mold cosmetic inspections and bubble checks on dry lenses.
• Ensure compliance with Alcon’s Code of Business Conduct, Data Integrity procedures, and Health, Safety and Environment standards.

Required profile

• General Certificate in a related field.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12‑hour weekly shift.
• No prior experience required; relevant work experience is an advantage.
