Senior Specialist – Product Safety (Asia Pacific)

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Product Safety will deliver product safety services across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring compliance with chemical regulations and BASF’s product stewardship framework. The role involves close collaboration with supply‑chain, customer service and technical teams to drive safe and compliant product outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute chemical‑regulation compliance measures and product safety deliverables for BASF entities.
• Lead discussions with internal stakeholders to address non‑conformances and implement improvement actions.
• Monitor regulatory reporting, evaluate product regulatory data and maintain compliance databases.
• Guide junior team members, troubleshoot service‑delivery issues and support knowledge‑exchange activities.
• Conduct quality checks, support internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement of processes and documentation.

Required profile

• University degree (Master’s preferred) in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in chemical regulation, product regulatory affairs, or product safety and stewardship.
• Strong analytical abilities and proven ability to work cross‑functionally.
