Senior SMT Planner

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking an experienced Senior SMT Planner to lead scheduling and capacity planning for its Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production lines. You will work closely with logistics, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure efficient production flow and meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule SMT lines based on customer orders and product mix.
• Conduct monthly SMT capacity simulations and execute capacity plans.
• Facilitate capacity discussions with LOG, MOE5, and MOE2 teams.
• Lead the SMT Planning and Scheduling group and drive leveling projects.
• Monitor daily SMT output and track inventory, WIP, and staging areas.
• Prepare production tracking and other ad‑hoc reports.
• Coordinate problem‑solving activities related to SMT planning.
• Initiate and lead continuous‑improvement projects, including pull‑system and system planning initiatives.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in SMT planning.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with good coordination and organizational skills.
• Results‑oriented with solid planning and resource‑management capabilities.
• Positive mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
• Proactive in driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills across departments.
