Senior Sales and Application Engineer (Linear Technology)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and technically driven Senior Sales & Application Engineer to join our industrial automation team. The role focuses on Linear Technology products, driving growth and supporting customers across assigned territories.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth, lead generation and direct customer acquisition for Linear Technology products.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales pipeline including opportunity creation, technical proposals, commercial negotiations and closing deals.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key US semiconductor contract manufacturers and local OEMs.
• Provide on‑site application support, product sizing and basic technical troubleshooting during critical sales phases.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, quotations and value‑proposition pitches to engineering and procurement decision‑makers.
• Gather market intelligence, track competitors and update customer forecasts for the product line.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Solid background in B2B direct sales, key account management, price negotiation and industrial account growth.
• Existing relationships or exposure to US semiconductor contract manufacturers and regional machinery OEMs is an advantage.
• Highly self‑driven in field sales activities, managing visits, pipeline reporting and customer follow‑ups independently.
• Effective collaboration with internal engineering and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen combined with functional knowledge of linear technology products and customer machine applications.
• Ability to identify high‑growth OEM segments and emerging semiconductor trends.
• Confident in pitching value propositions, negotiating commercial terms and explaining technical advantages.
