Senior Manager – Procure to Pay (P2P) Team Lead

About the role

The Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) Team Lead will head end‑to‑end P2P operations for PwC Malaysia, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant procurement and payment processes that support the firm’s professional services delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full P2P lifecycle – vendor onboarding, requisitions, purchase orders, receipt of goods/services, invoice processing and payment execution.
• Monitor service level agreements, cycle times and back‑log to maintain operational efficiency and a strong internal customer experience.
• Ensure strict adherence to PwC P2P policies, approval matrices, independence rules and Malaysian regulatory requirements (tax, SST, e‑Invoicing).
• Act as primary P2P contact for partners, directors and engagement teams, translating business needs into practical solutions.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of P2P analysts, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives, automation opportunities and finance system optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading P2P functions in a professional services or shared‑services environment.
• Strong people‑leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements related to procurement and payments.
• Ability to balance cost control, service quality and regulatory compliance.
