Senior Data Specialist

About the role

As a Senior Data Specialist you will be the local expert for planning‑relevant master data, ensuring high consistency, quality and reliability of data used in Blue Yonder to support the semiconductor production network. You will act as a bridge between business units, specialty departments, IT and external service providers, driving continuous improvement of master‑data and planning IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning master‑data strategy, maintaining data quality and governance across the organization.
• Serve as the primary interface between business, IT, specialty departments and external IT service providers.
• Act as technical lead for analytics and data solutions, including Power BI, SQL (Oracle/MSSQL), KNIME and web/UI tools.
• Maintain and enhance master‑data applications and user interfaces such as Tivity.
• Develop dashboards and advanced analytics to enable planning excellence and self‑service insights.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of complex data issues and implement preventive solutions.
• Define, monitor and improve data‑governance frameworks, validation rules, workflows, KPIs and operating models.
• Identify data‑quality trends and drive automation, structural improvements and scalability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in master‑data management and planning within a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between business, IT and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to drive data‑governance and continuous improvement.
