About the role

The Research & Development Assistant Manager will support the creation and improvement of food products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. This on‑site position in Butterworth, Penang, offers the chance to work closely with diverse teams and stay ahead of industry trends.

Key responsibilities

Lead product development initiatives for new and existing food products.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including marketing, quality, and production to ensure alignment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal standards.
Analyze trial results and interpret data to guide product improvements.
Mentor and guide junior team members throughout the development process.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to food R&D.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of experiments, specifications, and regulatory submissions.
