Purchase-to-Pay Freight Cost Associate Analyst (Contract)

About the role

The Purchase-to-Pay Freight Cost Associate Analyst supports invoice verification for inbound and outbound logistics activities across Asia Pacific. Working from Kuala Lumpur, the analyst ensures accurate processing of freight invoices before vendor payments are initiated, helping maintain uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Validate inbound and outbound freight invoices against contracted spot rates and internal guidelines.
• Coordinate with service providers and local supply chain or finance teams to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare complete supporting documentation for the Finance team to process vendor payments.
• Understand and apply charging mechanisms for supply chain services.
• Identify process risks, propose mitigations, and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Accounting.
• 2‑4 years of experience in purchase‑to‑pay, supply chain, or shipping invoice handling.
• Hands‑on experience working with logistics service providers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
