Program Manager

About the role

AirAsia MOVE, a budget travel platform focused on ASEAN and part of Capital A, is hiring a Program Manager in Kuala Lumpur. The role owns front-facing execution of complex, cross-functional technology programs, ensuring predictable delivery, strong execution discipline and clear visibility for leadership. It works closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Design, Business and Analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of assigned programs and initiatives, and give leadership a consolidated view of status, risks, dependencies and timelines.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Design and Business to define execution plans, ownership and success criteria, and hold stakeholders accountable.
• Lead programs with broad dependencies, maintain the program plan and Gantt chart, run standups and syncs, and resolve risks and blockers proactively.
• Own weekly reviews, monthly business reviews and milestone checkpoints, and report progress, risks and trade-offs clearly.
• Track engineering effort and ROI, and highlight inefficiencies or over-investment.
• Manage the change process for programs, so leadership can decide on priority or scope changes and teams absorb them cleanly.

Required profile

• 6-10 years of total professional experience, with at least 4-6 years in Program Management, Technical Program Management, Delivery or Engineering roles.
• Experience driving execution across multi-team, cross-functional technology programs.
• Comfortable working with senior engineering, product and business stakeholders, with leadership reporting exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
