Manufacturing Trainee

About the role

LSCHEM Industry is launching a structured training program for recent engineering graduates to support the start‑up of its new plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As a Manufacturing Trainee you will gain hands‑on experience in oil and gas production processes while developing the technical foundation required for a career in industrial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in daily plant operations and routine maintenance tasks.
• Participate in process monitoring, data collection, and performance analysis.
• Support safety and quality inspections in accordance with industry standards.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand production workflows.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BEng or equivalent) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
• Strong interest in oil & gas manufacturing and plant operations.
• Good analytical mindset and willingness to learn on the job.
• Effective communication skills in English.
