Manager, Scheduling

About the role

AirAsia is looking for a Manager, Scheduling within its Group Scheduling department (entity AAAMS, location RedQ, Sepang, Selangor). The manager leads and oversees the development of AirAsia's and/or AirAsia X flight schedules, making them economically and operationally optimized, feasible and aligned with business goals. The role is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of one or more, set clear KPIs, run regular performance reviews and foster a results-driven culture.
• Create and distribute aircraft routing solutions for the widebody and narrowbody network, and oversee scheduling processes and operational priorities.
• Develop the annual budget schedule, working with senior leadership and other departments.
• Manage and monitor the slot portfolio at all airports, and transition schedules from planning to live mode using Schedule Manager (New Skies), coordinating with the Preflight team on rescheduling.
• Drive revenue by aligning schedules with holidays, demand patterns and special events, and implement fleet changes, special events and charter schedules.
• Work with other operational teams and communicate future schedules clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience in airline planning and scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability and collaboration skills.
