Manager – Global Supply Chain Excellence (APAC & NA)

About the role

Join BASF’s Asia‑Pacific Service Centre in Kuala Lumpur as a Manager responsible for designing and optimizing global supply chain services across APAC and North America. You will work with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into efficient, digital‑first supply chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve supply chain services based on demand, legal requirements, M&A, and strategic projects.
• Conduct impact and cost analyses for new services and propose automation opportunities.
• Provide input for tender strategies and ensure ongoing service improvement.
• Develop, test, and implement new service concepts, collaborating with DevOps and business experts.
• Drive digitalisation, automation, and change management across the operation.
• Create customer‑specific and cross‑regional distribution concepts with Procurement, Finance, and SDU teams.
• Lead integration projects for new businesses into the BASF service structure.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5‑7 years of experience in Transport Management, Import‑Export, and Order Management.
• Proven track record in project leadership, process improvement, and change management.
• Flexibility to work across North America and EMEA time zones.
