Maintenance Technician – Rotating Shift

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing plant in Bayan Lepas. The role operates on a rotating shift schedule and focuses on keeping production equipment running smoothly through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and autonomous maintenance on production line machinery, jigs and fixtures according to the master schedule.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures, escalating complex issues to senior technicians or engineers.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, downtime reports and spare‑parts inventories.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team, engineers and supervisors to ensure safety standards and 5S practices are upheld.

Required profile

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electronics engineering.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
