Legal Counsel – Compliance Services Hub (Thai Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Legal Counsel to join our Compliance Services Hub in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and intellectual property contracts while supporting a range of legal and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate local and international contracts using templates and playbooks.
• Provide legal and compliance support for due diligence, M&A projects, audits, and investigations.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement of templates and knowledge‑management systems.
• Interact with internal clients and external customers to address assigned tasks.
• Prepare presentations, use legal‑tech tools, and handle translation tasks as needed.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, preferably with a commercial law focus.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in legal and commercial contract management.
• Experience with both common‑law and civil‑law systems.
• Fluent English; Thai (or Korean) language skills are an advantage.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across units.
• Strong analytical mindset, goal‑oriented, and customer‑focused.
