Integration and Commissioning Manager

About the role

The Integration and Commissioning Manager will lead the coordination of I&C and SCADA interfaces for a large power‑plant project in Kuala Lumpur. Acting as the employer’s technical authority, you will ensure seamless integration across turbine‑generator, balance‑of‑plant, switchyard and grid systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the I&C and SCADA Interface Register and resolve interface gaps with EPCC contractors.
• Lead regular interface meetings, issue action lists and track closure of responsibilities.
• Review and approve commissioning strategies, witness pre‑commissioning, loop checks, functional testing, energisation and trial operation.
• Conduct technical reviews of control philosophies, P&IDs, I/O lists, communication diagrams and HMI/SCADA screens.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT procedures, witness cross‑vendor tests and support site teams during trial runs.
• Ensure compliance with TNB grid code, SCADA/telecontrol requirements and project specifications.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in integration, commissioning or I&C for power‑generation or heavy‑industrial projects.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and resolve technical disputes.
• Strong understanding of contractual obligations and grid‑code compliance.
