Project Execution Engineer, Ocean Division

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Project Execution Engineer for its Ocean Division to lead the delivery of customer projects from contract fulfillment through commissioning and start‑up, ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and implement detailed execution plans for assigned projects.
• Monitor project progress, performance, and cost to ensure alignment with the plan and profitability targets.
• Proactively resolve operational issues and minimise delays throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and coordinate necessary internal and external resources to ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Technical, Factory, Service) to secure specialised support.
• Manage and coordinate third‑party contractors to ensure quality and integration with internal activities.
• Monitor on‑site activities and support commissioning and start‑up processes.
• Oversee troubleshooting efforts and manage issues during the warranty period.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated team player able to network in an international, cross‑cultural environment.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks effectively.
• Continuous‑improvement focus and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 3–5 years of project engineering or execution experience.
• End‑to‑end project lifecycle experience from initiation to closing.
• Hands‑on experience with project reporting tools such as Click Up and PPM.
• Agile, proactive problem‑solving attitude.
