In-Service Engineer – Hydraulic Systems

About the role

Airbus Customer Services is seeking an In‑Service Engineer specialized in hydraulic systems to provide autonomous technical assistance to airline customers. You will ensure aircraft operate safely and efficiently by troubleshooting, delivering maintenance recommendations, and supporting fleet reliability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote engineering support for hydraulic and cargo‑door actuation systems (ATA 29, ATA 52).
• Analyse in‑service events, assess airworthiness impacts, and initiate corrective actions.
• Identify emerging technical issues, collaborate with fleet managers, and define mitigation solutions.
• Communicate technical information to customers at all hierarchy levels, including phone, face‑to‑face, and during airline events.
• Deliver technical presentations and support regional fleet management activities.
• Participate in on‑call standby for AOG cases outside normal business hours.

Required profile

• Professional engineering background with experience in aircraft hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally, especially within Asia‑Pacific and Europe.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
