About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental activities on a high‑tech industrial project in Selangor. The role involves ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations, international standards and project‑specific requirements while supporting safe delivery of complex facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE plans for industrial construction, clean‑room and data‑centre projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities to obtain approvals and ensure safe execution.
• Lead stakeholder communication, risk assessments and incident investigations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a DOSH‑registered Safety & Health Officer in industrial or highly regulated projects.
• Proven experience with semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical or other mission‑critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction practices, statutory requirements and building regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Familiarity with international engineering standards such as FIDIC.
• Ability to work on‑site in Selangor and travel as required.
