About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead contract administration for industrial projects in Malaysia. The role involves overseeing contract compliance, claims, extensions of time and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage FIDIC claims, extensions of time and determination support for complex industrial projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Oversee the full construction project lifecycle from design through handover and close‑out.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian construction practices, statutory requirements and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial construction, preferably in semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical or similar facilities.
• Strong command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willingness to be based on‑site in Selangor and travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract principles and international project management standards.
• Familiarity with Malaysian building regulations and authority approval processes.
